The GP on duty on the day of my visit listened attentively to the reason for my visit and swiftly came to a diagnosis and treatment plan. I did not find it easy to book an appointment. Difficult to get through at 08.00 in the morning - number constantly engaged

I have had no occasion on which I have not had superb care. I have always felt that I have been listened to and would certainly be happy to recommend this surgery. I do have fears for the future with the expertise of 4 senior doctors no longer being on hand but empathise fully with the distressing situation they must have felt themselves to be in to take this drastic action. Cannot understand why a "flagship" surgery should be so under funded. With Broomfield running at almost full capacity, and this surgery at present able to take some of the pressure off of the hospital by the work that they do. Another 450 houses being built in this surgery's vicinity!! Well.... I need say no more!

If you urgently feel you need to see a Doctor they will offer you an appointment some time that day. Doctors all share knowledge and information with patients regarding their medical issues, plus ensure you are involved in decision making. We live rurally so they also dispense for us too. All staff are very friendly and approachable but very organised and professional too. They continually try to increase the provision and facilities on offer at the surgery. Test results are accessible by phone call with follow up information or appointments made as necessary. Some Doctors have specialisms which they use to the benefit of all the practice. Despite receiving top score and comments by the QCC, forthcoming financial cuts are resulting in our Doctors refusing to cut facilities / provision such that it seems we will lose them all! A very sad day indeed when my experiences confirm it is the best practice locally!

My treatment was completed quickly and efficiently but I fear that will be more difficult to achieve after June 2016 given the funding crisis facing Sunderland Lodge
